Belarus breweries double export in January-May

The export of Belarusian breweries more than doubled in January-May this year, BelTA learnt from Belgospishcheprom.In January-May Belarus exported 2,403,400 million decaliters of beer, up 2.08 times from the same months a year ago.
Krinitsa Brewery exported 1,569,300 decaliters of beer, up 1.97 times over the same period in 2010. Lidskoye Pivo sold 281,900 decaliters of beer outside the country (up 1.78 times). Brestkoye Pivo increased export deliveries to 285,500 decaliters, up 82.6 times as compared to the same months last year. Heineken Breweries traded 163,300 decaliters of beer to the foreign market (up 1.72 times). Olivaria Brewery sold 88,000 decaliters of beer abroad (up 3.2 times).
The export of two national breweries has dropped. Joint company Rechitsapivo exported 9,900 decaliters of beer (down 56.3%), Dvinsky Brovar sold 5,400 decaliters of beer abroad (down 75.9%).
